Getting Started Is Easy
The first thing to do is to come and experience one of our CrossFit Classes – Your first class is free! The free class is run on a Saturday morning at 8am.
“I can’t do that!” “You guys are crazy!” “CrossFit is too intense!” We hear this often… CrossFit looks intimidating from the outside and usually sends people running. It’s human nature to fear the unknown. You don’t need to worry about the level of fitness you are currently at.
Our classes are designed for universal scalability and apply equally to all committed individuals regardless of their age or fitness level.
CrossFit will prepare you for any task that life demands, both physically and mentally. It will make you stronger and more confident in all facets of life. Don’t believe it? We dare you to give it a go…
The next step is to sign up to our On Ramp Program.
On Ramp Intro Program
The On Ramp program consists of 9 sessions over 3 weeks – you will acquire basic competency in the foundational movements, correct form, proper technique and full range of motion unique to CrossFit. This is the first step for everybody new to CrossFit, regardless of your physical ability and is a prerequisite for continuing with CrossFit. Once you complete the On Ramp prorgam you will be ready to graduate into our CrossFit group workouts.
The Intro program will cover the following movements:
- Squats: air squat, front squat, overhead squat, back-squat
- Presses: shoulder press, push press, push jerk
- Power movements: deadlift, sumo deadlift high pull, ball clean
- Olympic movements: clean and jerk, snatch
- Gymnastics: pull-up, push-ups, burpees, ring dips, Handstands, l-sits etc.
- Other common movements: thrusters, wall ball, kettlebell swings, box jumps, jump roping (skipping).
Please understand that all movements have modifications and we are happy to work with all abilities.
