Strange disciplines:Along with the classic Olympic sport forms of track and field, gymnastics, and swimming there were also many more peculiar ones. At the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis there were swinging, tug of war and rope climbing events. Tug of war, shown here at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm, was part of the games until 1920.
I hope that in the next Olympics, they include tug of war. It’s the epitome of strength, teamwork and endurance. New Zealand can then have an excuse to add the All Blacks into the Olympics, and rename them, the ‘Tug Blacks’. Haha
On topic though, I’m slowly gaining a great appreciation for crossfit; due to it being functional strength; not isolation exercises, which are good for aesthetics but not as good for everyday functional strength..

By the way, I found your gym from: http://aucklandgyms.co.nz/crossfit/
Didn’t have your website though, so I had to do a google search.
Lastly, I will be sure to come into a class as soon as my mate comes back from Aussie.
